Fun read! Entertaining and skillfully written! A Great beach read and handbook that will bring a smile to your face!
I so LOVED reading this book from a former celebrity Ms. Jessica R. Bunevacz from my home town the Philippines. It reminisce my love of Filipino celebrities back in the days.
Date Like A Girl, Marry Like A Woman is a very fun and educational book to read. I LOVED that this book is divided between dating and marriage. It is perfect for single and married women as well. The advises are so natural after finishing each rules. I am more enjoyed the part about marriage. The book is hard to put it down once you started reading it.
I can relate to some of the rules. This book is even fun reading when I shared it to my husband. It also a funny book to read and bring back my imaginations to my home town the Philippines who I missed so terribly. What a perfect book to learn about relationship. The tips you learn when you are dating and how to spice up your married life. I so LOVED reading this book. I highly recommend it to everybody who needs help with their love life. This book is a must to read.

I'm sure that the title of this book made you curious to know more. I know it did that to me. So I decided to read and review it.
The author has successfully managed to combine a memoir with a self-help book. The first part of the book focuses on the rules of dating and the second on how to have a successful marriage.
I do like the fact that the author has talked about a woman taking charge of her life. I am totally in agreement with her when she writes "No gift in the world is worth your dignity or self-respect." Women do need to take a call for themselves on the nature of their intimate premarital relationships, always making sure they make choices stemming out of confidence and self-esteem. I agree too with her advice on marriage. Respecting, not nagging, and not gossiping about your husband do make things easier in a marriage.
However, I didn't fully agree with some of the advice or the explicit nature of some of the content. That a wife must never refuse sex or must cook, seems to make marriage more of a set of rules than a relationship to me.
Overall, I found the author's style and tone engaging and she had me reading this till the end.
